Herbert Migdoll has found multiple passions for expression in the art world. He’s worked as a graphic designer, a museum assistant at MOMA, and after his time as a photographer, has decided to focus on painting. His photography with the Joffrey Ballet received recognition not only within the ballet world, but also on a national stage when his work was featured on the cover of TIME Magazine. Since then he has worked with large-scale digital paintings created for installations in urban settings, often as a series. Hand applied oil enamels finish the works, obliterating much of the original image. His work is most notably in the collection of the MOMA in New York City.
