www.nadjastudios.com About the Artist Beginning in high school, Nadja studied realism from professional painter and former graduate of LHS, Ryan Shultz. After attending the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2012, Nadja left to live in Florence Italy during 2013. Living, painting and working on farms in the Tuscany Hills. Returning to the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design for the following year, he continued his studies of realist and surrealist painting. Then is 2014, Nadja moved to San Franscisco and continued his painting studies at the historic San Francisco Art Institute. Afterwards, he transferred to the famous School of the Art Institute of Chicago to finish his BFA degree. Nadja has been published and acclaimed for his academic realist portraits in New City Magazine, as well as Surrealism Today for his works. This past year, Nadja worked closely under Shaurya Kumar, a professional printmaker and professor at SAIC studying lithograph printmaking. He continues to hone and develop his craft. |
